Inclusivity Statement
Why "Cincy Girls Who"?

Cincy Girls Who is a social group for all those who identify as female to feel empowered and comfortable amongst their peers in the Cincinnati area. The mission of our group is to provide a platform for women in Cincinnati to connect and form friendships, discover new and exciting experiences within our community, and focus on inclusion and accessibility for all.

The benefit of making this a “girls’” group is that we can help members feel comfortable in a new environment while making friends. Many members attend their first event alone, and we want to ensure that we are fostering a safe and empowering space for those who are joining the group for the first time.

Thus, each person joining must decide whether their participation helps to achieve the mission of a safe space for all women. We will leave it up to each member to determine if it is appropriate for them to participate. We reserve the right to remove anyone who is threatening the safety of or otherwise harassing any members of the group from both our online and physical spaces.

Please understand that this group was not created to sideline any gender identity but rather to allow our members to experience a personal and comfortable space to nourish their female relationships. We hold frequent open events and encourage male-identifying or otherwise non-female-identifying members to join those activities when possible. We will make it explicitly clear when these events are open to everyone. We firmly believe that all genders should work as allies for equality in all domains.
